Single to Fundraise for Mental Health Awareness

May is Mental Health Awareness Month! The pandemic has highlighted more clearly than any time in recent history how important mental health is to individuals and their immediate community.

Isolation, sickness, unemployment, and grief are just some of the factors leading to ways our mental health has been impacted. This needs to be addressed before it gets to a stage where there are even more serious issues.

More recently, the crises in Afghanistan, Syria, Yemen and the Ukraine have seen large numbers of people displaced from their homes and their familiar environments.

At the Foundation, we realise that sometimes it only needs us talking through our issues with an understanding ear to make a world of difference. Therefore, we need to open up and talk about what we are feeling.

Julian Ng wrote this song “Talk To Me” exactly for this purpose. Sung beautifully by Rachel Farago, these words form a catchy mantra. If we can offer a sympathetic ear to someone, we might just end up saving or changing their life for the better.

If you like the song, please donate here! (and tell your friends about it). You can also purchase the song on Apple iTunes, Amazon Music, Deezer, etc.

The funds raised from this song will go towards our Social and Mental Hub initiative offering a non-judgemental space for refugees and their friends to sit down, have a hot (or cold) cuppa, and just chat. We also plan to offer art therapy and music therapy sessions, and raised funds will go towards resourcing these activities.
