Canterbury, UK – June 6, 2025 – What a fantastic day it was as the Warnborough Foundation recently hosted its vibrant Community Engagement Day! The event was a true testament to the power of coming together, offering a rich tapestry of creative, hands-on workshops and invaluable opportunities to connect with our incredible community partners.


The atmosphere was buzzing with enthusiasm as attendees seized the opportunity to acquire new skills and explore how they could contribute to positive change within our community.

- “Colour YOU Confident” Empowered Women: This highly anticipated workshop, designed specifically for women, was a huge hit! Participants discovered inspiring ways to use colour to boost their confidence, leaving the session feeling invigorated and ready to embrace their unique power.
- Lyric-Writing with Our CEO, Julian Ng: What a treat it was to have our very own CEO, Julian Ng – known for his celebrated musical “Snakes!” – lead a captivating lyric-writing session. Aspiring wordsmiths explored the art of storytelling through song, showcasing the incredible talent within our community.
- Tackling “Mental Health in Construction” with Dr. John Gaal: A vital and impactful session, this special event featured Dr. John Gaal, a leading expert in workforce wellness. The discussion shone a light on the critical issue of mental health within the construction industry and initiated crucial conversations around developing effective suicide postvention strategies. It truly underscored our commitment to addressing important societal challenges.
- Discovering the Warnborough Foundation’s Mission: Throughout the day, visitors had ample opportunities to learn more about the diverse and impactful community work undertaken by the Warnborough Foundation, gaining a deeper understanding of our goals and achievements.
- Spotlight on Partner: Think Healthy Me: We were delighted to feature our partner, Think Healthy Me, who shared invaluable insights and resources on promoting well-being in the workplace. Their presence highlighted the collaborative spirit of the event and the interconnectedness of holistic health within our community.
